3777601 - Error: "No data for hierarchy" for virtual time hierarchies during BW/4HANA remote migration RSRV check

Symptom

  • During BW/4HANA Remote Migration, when executing the RSRV check "Check all hierarchies from characteristic 0DATE" in the target system, the following error is shown: No data for hierarchy (tech. name 0YEA_MON_DAY) version X in table /BI0/IDATE
  • The same error may appear for other virtual time hierarchies, including: 0YEA_QUA_MON_DAY, 0WEEK_DAY
  • RSRV check fails with "No data" error for virtual time characteristic hierarchies
  • /BI0/IDATE or /BI0/HDATE tables contain no entries for the affected hierarchy
  • BW/4HANA migration pre-check reports missing hierarchy data for time characteristics
