3777612 - ABAP System Fails to Connect to HANA After sslvalidatecertificate Set to TRUE

Symptom

  • You have configured SSL communication from ABAP system to HANA following KBA 2475246 - How to Secure Connections from Netweaver ABAP instances to HANA Database and it works fine. However, after setting the DB parameter sslvalidatecertificate to TRUE, the connection fails.
  • In indexserver trace, the following error logs are observed.
