3777658 - History Processor Job Fails with "Basis Amount Calculation Failed for User Due to Non-Numeric Basis Value" - SAP SuccessFactors Compensation

The Employee Central History Processor Job fails during execution because one or more of its subjobs fail.
Upon reviewing the subjob logs, the following error is reported:  "Basis Amount Calculation failed for user due to non-numeric basis value."

• SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay

1. Open Monitor Compensation Jobs and identify the failed Employee Central History Processor job and failing sub job.
2. Review the sub job report/logs in Provisioning to find the exact error text and the impacted record/field that supplies the basis amount.

• A non-numeric value is used where a numeric basis amount is expected, causing the job (sub job) to fail.

1. Validate the source data used for basis amount calculations (for example, fields feeding custom formulas) and ensure all required fields contain numeric values only (no text, blanks, or invalid decimal separators).
2. Correct the invalid data in the relevant Employee Central or compensation data records.
3. Rerun the Employee Central History Processor job.
4. Confirm that the job and all sub jobs complete successfully and monitor for any new errors.
