3777672 - Plan activity rates in KP26 still use old exchange rate after exchange rate is updated — How to recalculate conversion to controlling area currency

Symptom

Plan activity rates are maintained in KP26 in company code currency. The system converts these rates to controlling area currency using the planning exchange rate type (e.g., type P) that is valid at the time of maintenance.

When exchange rates are subsequently updated in the system (for example, at the beginning of a new fiscal year), the activity rates displayed in KSBT continue to show the conversion using the old exchange rate from the time of the original maintenance, not the updated exchange rate.

Deleting and re-entering all rates would resolve the issue but is not practical for large volumes.
