• Uploading a .jpg/.jpeg or other file formats not supported in the Resume/CV field during the application process results in an error and the file is not accepted.
• Error Received: Upload Failed: The file type is not supported. Please upload a valid file type

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management 

1. Start an application on the career site (for example, apply to https://basfset2.valhalla12.stage.jobs2web.com/job/Senior-Business-Expert-Digitalization/29649-en_US/).
2. In the Resume/CV field, attempt to upload a .jpg (or .jpeg) file.
3. Observe that an error occurs and the upload is rejected.

Unsupported file type for the resume upload in Candidate Experience; .jpg/.jpeg is not supported. Supported formats are .pdf, .doc, .docx, .txt, and .rtf.

1. Use one of the supported resume file formats: .pdf, .doc, .docx, .txt, or .rtf.
2. Reattempt the upload with a supported file type in the Resume/CV field.
