3777997 - Getting a 'Backend error occurred' when using 'F4' value help in transaction RE80/REDPR only when using a SAP Screen Personas flavor

Symptom

  • When running transactions RE80 or REBDPR in change mode with a specific SAP Screen Personas Flavor, opening a F4 value help for field results in an error and the value help does not open.
  • Backend error occurs: “Backend error occurred”.
  • Error detail: “Received ‘failed to fire vkey’ on batch step #1: {'post':'vkey/4/wnd[0]'} ID: 7930354”.
  • Console error: “Step 1 failed: -103 [failed to fire vkey]”.
