Symptom
How to filter the Story report output for the access user only?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Resolution
It is not possible to dynamically filter a Story report for the user accessing it using the Scope Filter available for a few schemas at the query-level for a few schemas.
Alternatively, as a workaround, you may grant the access user permission(s) to see the data in the Story report solely from a role that grants themselves only as the target population.
- I.e.: for the access user to see only themselves in data fetched from the Basic User Information table, the user would need to be granted the Manage User > 'Data Access: User' permission from a single role that only includes themselves in the target population
