Symptom

Receiving the error when attempting to post a reversal goods receipt (movement type 102) via SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management to SAP Business Network: 

Error: Invalid receipt reversal, the receipt has positive received items

  • Error occurs during inbound ReceiptRequest cXML payload validation at the SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway level
  • Original goods receipt was successfully posted (movement type 101)
  • Reversal goods receipt fails and does not reach the Business Network
