3778076 - SAC add-in reports shows no data for datasphere models with FixedFilter with a variable reference, while data analyzer/stories return data – SAP analytics cloud add-in for Microsoft office

• In the SAP Analytics Cloud add-in for Microsoft Office, reports connected to SAP Datasphere analytic models with FixedFilter with a variable reference. 
• The same models return data correctly in SAC Data Analyzer and SAC stories. 
• No error is shown in the add-in; only empty results are returned.

1. Sign in to the SAC add-in for Microsoft Office.
2. Open an SAC add-in workbook connected to a SAP Datasphere analytic model where FixedFilter with a variable reference.
3. Refresh the workbook in the SAC add-in: no data is returned.
4. Using SAC Data Analyzer or an SAC story on the same model, run the same query. Data is returned as expected.

Product issue

• SAC Excel Add-in release 2026.17 which is planned for the first week of August, 2026(August 3) will include the correction to resolve the issue. 
• As a temporary workaround, remove FixedFilter with a variable reference in the affected Datasphere models to display data in the SAC add-in reports.
