3778428 - Error TO142 when saving SOBJ TOBJ cnnn objects: cannot assign to Z package

When saving changes to TOBJ objects (e.g., C000–Cnnn) in transaction SOBJ, the system prompts for a package assignment. Assigning a customer namespace package (e.g., ZFICO) fails with the following error:

SAP object TOBJ C006 S cannot be assigned to package ZFICO Message No. TO142

The error diagnosis states that the object belongs to the SAP-reserved name range and therefore cannot be assigned to a customer (Z/Y) package, since it belongs to a different name range or namespace. Editing is terminated.
