3778463 - Excel Export fails with "tables on another page can't be exported" when table is not on active page in a Unified Story in SAP Analytics Cloud

Symptom

  • Exporting a page of a live BW connection-based story that contains a single table widget fails to export to Excel.
  • Error message: api.errormessages.export.xlsx.tableNotOnActivePage — “The tables on another page can't be exported to an Excel file.”
  • Console log shows: “Feature toggle 'FF_APP_SUPPORT_SEPARATE_INSTANCES' does not exist but its state was requested.”
  • Issue observed after a Q2 2026 upgrade.
