3778491 - Instructors not selectable for newly created items & instructor search returns no data due to authorization filter LMS

• Instructors cannot be selected for newly created items, while the same instructors remain selectable and functional on existing items.
• When searching for instructors during scheduling of new items, no results are returned and “No data was found” is displayed.
• The system indicates the instructors do not have permission for selection on new items.

1. Open a newly created item.
2. Go to Actions > Schedule.
3. Search for instructors.
4. Observe that no results are returned and the message “No data was found” appears.

The item-level setting “Check Instructor Authorization” was enabled. When checked, only authorized instructors are shown in the instructor search, which can result in no results appearing for new items.

1. Open the affected item.
2. Navigate to the Instructor tab of the item.
3. Uncheck the option “Check Instructor Authorization.”
4. Save the item.
5. Return to Actions > Schedule and search for instructors again to confirm they now appear.
6. If needed, clear any pre-selected filters on the instructor search dialog and run the search.
