3778956 - SUM java 'analyse checks results' fails with 'operating system version is not supported' on non-English windows UI

Symptom

  • During Software Update Manager (SUM) for Java, step "Analyse Checks Results" fails
  • Error: "Operating system version is not supported. The supported version range for the operating system is [AMD64 10.0.14393,AMD64 10.*]."
  • The operating system is Windows Server 2022 (version 10.0.20348, build 20348). The actual version here (10.0.20348) falls within supported versions in brackets [] above.
  • The failure is referenced in ANALYSE-CHECKS-RESULT_*.LOG within the SUM sdt log directory.
