3778962 - "You don't have permission to access this page" error to proxy a user

• Unable to proxy a user while having Proxy rights over the Account Holder
• Error displayed: "You don't have permission to access this page" when trying to proxy a user
• Proxy works for some users but not others, even with the same Proxy Permissions

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Sign in as the user who has proxy rights
2. Attempt to proxy as a specific user
3. Observe the error: "You don't have permission to access this page"
   
   

The account holder (target user being proxied) does not have permissions to access the module where proxy rights were granted (for example, Recruiting).

1. Identify the module the proxy intends to access while acting on behalf of the account holder (for example, Recruiting).
2. Verify the account holder’s role-based permissions for that module.
3. Grant or adjust the required permissions for the account holder to access the module (assign the appropriate role or update role permissions/target population as needed).
4. Test again by proxying as the account holder and accessing the module to confirm the error no longer appears.
