3778997 - No global default parameter for member list display options (description) in SAC excel add-in prompts

In the prompt for the excel add-in, the member list “Display Options” cannot be set to default to “Description.”

1. Open a prompt or the Set Filter dialog in the SAP Analytics Cloud add-in for Microsoft Excel.
2. Open More Options in the member selector and note the Display Options.
3. Attempt to configure a system-wide or user-wide default so that Display Options default to “Description.”
4. Observe that no global/default setting is available and the choice must be made manually per session.

A product limitation: there is no system-level or global default setting to enforce “Description” as the default in the member list Display Options for prompts.

1. Use the available workaround by setting the Display Options manually in each session:

3. 2. Select More Options.
4. 3. Under Display Options, choose “Description.”
5. Inform users that this preference does not persist as a global default across sessions or users.
