3779028 - Supplier Return Delivery (RL / RLN) on Blocked Stock Reduces Available Stock for Customer Deliveries (LF) in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Creating a Supplier Return Delivery on blocked stock reduces the available stock for other Outbound Customer Deliveries, even though no availability check is active on the return item category. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Have 25 pcs in blocked stock and 40 pcs in unrestricted stock.
2. Create a Customer Delivery LF for 30 pcs.
3. Create a Supplier Return Delivery RL for 25 pcs on blocked stock.
4. Result: Only 15 pcs remain available for LF (instead of 40).

Schedule Line Category RN transfers requirements to MRP/ATP by design, regardless of the special stock used for the return. This is standard behavior.

Use a dedicated Storage Location for Supplier Return stock, excluded from ATP for Outbound Deliveries:

1. Create a dedicated Storage Location for returns
2. Exclude it from availability check
3. Transfer Blocked Stock to be returned into this location
4. Create the RL Delivery from this location

Customer Deliveries LF are no longer impacted.
