3779030 - Cross-Delivery Handling Units cause Freight Unit merging in ASR scenarios

Symptom

  • In Advanced Shipping and Receiving (ASR), two Deliveries are created in ERP, and each Delivery creates its own Freight Unit.
  • After the Deliveries are distributed to EWM and warehouse tasks are completed, items from each Deliveries are packed into a single Handling Unit (HU).
  • When Shipping Readiness is then set for both Deliveries, their respective Freight Units are merged into a single Freight Unit.
  • Each Delivery's "TM Status" tab shows the same Freight Unit in the document flow. Additionally, the merged Freight Unit's document flow lists both Deliveries as predecessor documents.
