How to hide the Publish Data button in story in SAP Analytics Cloud stories (SAC)?

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.8.10

1. Login to SAP Analytics Cloud
2. Open the story.
3. Switch to Edit mode.
4. Open Story Settings, select View Time Settings, then choose Toolbar.
5. Under Desktop > General, set Mode to View or Present. 
6. In the preview, locate the Publish Data option and click the X icon to remove it, then select Save and Apply.
7. Save the story.
8. Switch to View mode and confirm that the Publish Data button no longer appears.
