3779113 - Cannot Change Cost Center Of WBS Element in Customer/Internal Project After Save

• WBS has been created with an incorrect assignment
• unable to change the responsible cost center of a customer or internal project

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Plan Customer Projects app.
2. Open a customer or internal project that has already been saved.
3. Navigate to the Information tab.
4. Attempt to change the responsible cost center of a wbs element; the field is disabled and cannot be edited.

By design, after the first save of a customer or internal project, the responsible cost center field of the WBS element becomes non-editable.

Acknowledge that changing the responsible cost center after the project has been saved is not supported by standard system behavior.
To correct an incorrect assignment, create a new wbs element or project with the intended cost center and continue planning and execution using the corrected object.

The situation you are referring to does not represent an error in current delivery of S/4HANA Cloud but a new feature request. SAP Support deals with fixing errors in S/4HANA Cloud and does not cover feature requests. 

To see new functionality introduced in the future you are encouraged to create an improvement request. SAP Customer Influence enables customers to submit improvement requests and to openly vote on them.
