When trying to use the Save as option on a goal plan template, receive an error:

1. Log into SuccessFactors
2. Proxy as another user
3. In the global search, type Manage Templates
4. Select the Goal Plan tab
5. Select a template
6. Click Save or Save As
7. Receive error

Corrupted/stale proxy mapping

With the 1H 2026 release, an update was made to proxy management settings in SuccessFactors. This caused some proxy mappings to become corrupted, but this can be resolved by resetting the proxy settings using the steps below:

Step 1: Grant Proxy Access

1. Log into SuccessFactors
2. Navigate to Admin Center > Proxy Management or search for Proxy Management in global search
3. In the Make Assignments section, populate the following fields and options:
   • Grant proxy:
     • Who will act as the proxy(username): [the logged in user e.g., cbraun]
     • What account holder will the proxy act on behalf of (username): [the target user e.g., sfadmin]
   • Grant Proxy Rights:
     • Admin Tools
     • Role-Based Permissions
     • Goal Management
     • Start and End dates
4. Select Save

Step 2: Confirm and Delete Proxy Access

1. In the Look Up Existing Assignments section, populate the account holder field (the target user e.g., sfadmin)
2. Select the Search for Proxy button
3. Check the box for the user you just granted access to e.g., cbraun
4. Select Delete
