3779255 - No warning is triggered when activating Budget Availability Control for a cost center with existing actual costs

Symptom

When activating or assigning Budget Availability Control for a cost center in the app Manage Cost Centers, no warning or error message is triggered during save.

This can occur in the following scenario:

  • Actual costs have already been posted to the cost center.
  • The relevant G/L account is included in the Budget Availability Control account group.
  • A Budget Availability Control profile is assigned to the cost center.
  • The profile contains an activity group for Master Data Change with a warning or error threshold.
  • Warning or error messages are triggered correctly for other budget-relevant activities, such as Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, or Budget Change.
