3779265 - KSU5 does not include all cost element ranges when a large sender cost element group is used

Symptom

When executing an actual assessment cycle in transaction KSU5, some cost element ranges that are part of the sender cost element group are not included in the sender selection.

The behavior is observed when the sender cost element group contains many individual cost element ranges.

For example:

  • A large cost element group is used as sender selection in an assessment cycle.
  • One or more cost element ranges that exist in the group are not considered during sender selection.
  • The sender value is not determined for the affected cost element range.
  • When a smaller cost element group containing the affected range is used, the sender value is determined and allocated as expected.
