3779303 - Invalid Onboardee error when a Global Assignment candidate opens the Personal Data Collection step - Onboarding

When a Global Assignment candidate tries to complete the Personal Data Collection (PDC) step, the system displays the error message: “Invalid Onboardee.”

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Add a global assignment.
2. Trigger the onboarding process.
3. Proxy as the user and go to the Personal Data Collection step.
4. The error “Invalid Onboardee” appears when opening the onboardee’s page.

The Personal Data Collection task is linked to the host assignment. If the user accesses it while the home assignment, or another incorrect employment profile, is selected, the system displays the “Invalid Onboardee” error. This is expected behavior for users with multiple employments, such as Global Assignment or Concurrent Employment.

1. Use the profile switcher to select the host assignment, or the employment profile linked to the Personal Data Collection task.
2. Go to Onboarding and open the Personal Data Collection card.
3. For Concurrent Employment scenarios, make sure the correct employment profile is selected before accessing onboarding tasks.
