3779311 - Error "Cannot Save the Status Change for the Repair Order" When Completing a Repair Order

• The assigned in-house repair is already in Completed status, which locks the related repair object and prevents the repair order status from being changed.
• Error: "Cannot save the status change for the repair order."

1. Open a repair order that is in Released status and linked to an in-house repair that is in Completed status.
2. Choose Edit.
3. Add or Delete a line item.
4. Change the repair order status to Completed.
5. Save the document. 

Error Occurs: "Currently, you cannot save the status change for the repair order. The repair object that is related to the repair order and that adopts the status change, is currently locked by the assigned in-house repair."

• The assigned in-house repair is already set to Completed, which locks the related repair object. As a result, changes to the repair order status cannot be saved.
• Completed in-house repairs cannot be reverted to in-process; no further actions are allowed on the linked object.

1. Verify the status of the assigned in-house repair; if it is Completed, the repair order status change cannot be saved by design.
2. No change to the repair order status is possible while the in-house repair remains in Completed status.
3. For future processing, complete the commercial repair order first, and only then set the in-house repair to Completed to avoid the lock.
