• Reverse GI with posting date for return delivery(Doc Type RL2) at APP Manage Outbound Delivery Orders; 
• Rrror: "Reverse GI with posting date is not possible due to missing configuration";
• Reversing GI without specifying a posting date works.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create Purchase Order and follow up inbound delivery, Goods Recipet and putaway the inbound delivery.
2. User regret the Goods Reciept. Create Purchase Order with Return Flag at APP ID (ME21n), create Return Delivery(Doc Type RL2, movement type 161).
3. Complete picking and GI outbound delivery.
4. User regret the Goods Issue for the return. set the posting date and reverse GI for the return delivery at APP Manage Outbound Delivery orders.
5. Error message "Reverse GI with posting date is not possible due to missing configuration" occurs.

Reversing Goods Issue with a user-specified posting date is not supported for return deliveries (delivery type RL2) in the current release.

Activate the sync goods movement with customizing "Activate Synchronous Goods Movement in the Warehouse" then follow below steps:

1. Create a new purchase order that does not use a confirmation control key requiring an inbound delivery.
2. In the Post Goods Movement app (MIGO), select Goods Recipet -> Purchase Order. Enter the purchase order at step 1.
3. Enter the required posting date and post the goods movement.
4. If needed, complete any standard follow-up steps in EWM to align warehouse stock with the financial posting.
