3779360 - Pay Component onChange Rule not working in PPX - 1H2026

Symptom

An onChange business rule is configured on the Pay Component field to automatically populate the Amount, Currency, and Frequency fields when a specific pay component is selected.

The behavior differs depending on the editing interface:

  • Legacy Editing UI (All Actions): The onChange rule is triggered successfully, and the target fields are populated as expected.
  • New Editing UI (accessed through History > Create or directly via pencil icon): The onChange rule is triggered and executes successfully, which can be confirmed in the Rule Trace. However, although the rule sets the values during execution, the changes are not reflected in the user interface.

    Cause

    Known issue.

    Resolution

    The fix is planned to be delivered by 2H2026 release.

    Workaround:

    Update Compensation Information using: All Actions > Change Job and Compensation.
