3779410 - Duplicate Transformation Options in Value Help of Customer Invoice/Credit Memo

In the transformation field for customer invoice/credit memo output settings, the value help displays multiple options with the same name and ID.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Account Management work center
2. Go to the Accounts view
3. Select an account
4. Click Edit and navigate to General tab
5. Open the Communication tab
6. Open the Collaboration subtab
7. Select Customer Invoice / Credit Memo
8. Open the value help for the Transformation field
9. Observe multiple entries are with the same ID and description

Multiple versions of the same transformation remain valid due to unlimited validity dates in the fine-tuning activity Common Master Data Configuration (Transformation Repository), so they appear in the value help even if their status is Obsolete.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center
2. Go to the Overview view
3. Find and open the fine-tuning activity Common Master Data Configuration.
4. Select the row with Configuration Type Code "5 - Transformation Repository"
5. Choose Edit
6. For each transformation that appears multiple times in value help:
   Select the transformation, and under Transformation Version, enter a past date in the Valid To field for all versions that should not appear in the value help when selecting a transformation for output channel settings
7. Save the changes
8. Recheck the value help; only versions that are valid based on the maintained dates are displayed.
