3779518 - Document Generation Reference Mapping "Link to People Profile" is not working for custom MDF objects

• Placeholder mapped to Reference → Link to People Profile does not render as a clickable hyperlink in the delivered email.
• The MDF alert is sent successfully, but the People Profile link is not clickable.
• The link is expected to be a clickable hyperlink that opens the subject user’s People Profile, but it appears as plain text.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Configure a Document Generation template for Alert category and map a field to Reference → Link to People Profile.
2. Add the token visibly in the template body as [[PROFILE_LINK]] and send an MDF-based alert email; the token appears unresolved.

• The Reference Mapping → Link to People Profile option is not supported for Document Generation Alert templates that are triggered from custom user-based MDF objects. As a result, the generated email does not include a hyperlink.
• Currently, Link to People Profile mapping is supported only for the entities listed below, as the generated link is designed to navigate directly to the relevant entity of the subject user.
