3779695 - Behavior of LinkedIn Recruiter Records After Candidate Anonymization - Recruiting Management

Symptom

A candidate is synchronized from SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting to LinkedIn Recruiter and is visible in both systems. After the candidate reaches the configured retention period and is anonymized in SAP SuccessFactors, there is a question regarding whether the candidate remains visible in LinkedIn Recruiter or is also anonymized through the integration.

Cause

This behavior is part of the standard integration design between SAP SuccessFactors and LinkedIn Recruiter. Candidate anonymization events in SAP SuccessFactors are propagated to LinkedIn through the integration.

Resolution

Once a candidate is anonymized in SAP SuccessFactors, the anonymization is immediately propagated to LinkedIn through the integration.

As a result, candidates who have been anonymized in SAP SuccessFactors will also be anonymized in LinkedIn Recruiter and will no longer be visible to recruiters within the LinkedIn platform.
