3779704 - Personal Information 'is-overriden' field not visible on the Employee Profile UI

Symptom

Customize Name Format is not visible in personal info portlet even when the permissions are granted.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the instance.
  2. Go to Manage Business Configuration and see the field Customize Name Format with identifier is-overridden is enabled.
  3. Go to RBP troubleshooting and see all the permission has been granted regarding this field to the users.
  4. Now, navigate to user profile then personal data, the field is not visible on the profile.

Cause

It is an expected behavior.

Resolution

This field is utilized for internal code logic and system processing. It is not intended for end-user interaction or display. Therefore, by design, the field has been hidden from the PPX screen.
