3779748 - SAP_FIORI_FOUNDATION_S4 tasklist fails in task "replicate backend catalog for system aliases" with "Incorrect user name or password (Please log on again)"

Symptom

An error occurs when running the task list “SAP_FIORI_FOUNDATION_S4” after Release upgrade
The step “Replicate backend catalog for System Aliases” fails on aliases that reference non-existing clients.
Legacy system alias entries remain in table maintenance (SM30) for clients that no longer exist.
Error messages include: “Incorrect user name or password (Please log on again)” and “SYST_FAILURE”.
Replication via RFC destinations for obsolete clients fails with a logon error.
