Symptom
- No option to skip a scheduled publication when the story or table contains no data.
- Scheduled publication is executed according to its defined schedule, regardless of whether the report returns any records.
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.8.10
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a story.
- Add a table to the story.
- Create a scheduled publication for the story.
Cause
Currently, SAP Analytics Cloud does not provide an option to conditionally suppress a scheduled publication when the story or table returns no data.
Resolution
If this capability is required, submit an enhancement request via the Customer Influence Portal (refer to KBA 2424376 - How do you create an enhancement request and provide feedback for SAP Analytics Cloud?).
