Symptom
- Email id maintained as sensitive does not initiate approval for suppliers or customers.
- KNB1-SMTP_ADDR (Customer)
- LFB1-SMTP_ADDR (Vendor)
Environment
- Product: SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Configure sensitive fields for dual control for supplier and customer master data.
- For suppliers, change lfa1-stcd3 and save; approval is initiated.
- Configure KNB1-SMTP_ADDR and LFB1-SMTP_ADDR as sensitive; change email and save; no approval is initiated.
Cause
The email field SMTP_ADDR does not exist in tables LFB1 and KNB1 and are therefore not supported for sensitive-field dual control. They are shown by mistake in the F4 Help.
Resolution
Entries LFB1-SMTP_ADDR KNB1-SMTP_ADDR are invalid and should not be chosen. They will soon be deactivated from the F4 help.
