3779957 - Contingent Worker time sheet UI error "Please choose a Pay Group in the employee’s Compensation Information."

When accessing the time sheet UI of a contingent worker, the following error message displayed: 

"Please choose a Pay Group in the employee’s Compensation Information."

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Sheet
• SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

1. Try to access the Time Sheet for the contingent worker
2. the system may display the error: “Please choose a Pay Group in the employee’s Compensation Information.”

The Data Replication Configuration for absence and time pay components has not excluded the contingent workers. 

Payment information is not available for use with Contingent Workers.
Contingent Workers are paid by Vendors and thus storing their Payment Information is not considered by EC.

The error message is displayed because contingent worker is included in Time Data Replication, which requires a pay group. 

1. DO NOT configure Pay Group Assignment in the Data Replication Configuration for absence and attendance, as the contingent worker cannot be excluded. 
2. In Data Replication Configuration, exclude contingent workers. Use attributes such as Country/Region Assignment or Company Assignment instead of Pay Group assignment.
