3779989 - Myanmar Postal Code Length Accepts Only 5 Digits

Symptom

A validation error is displayed when entering a Myanmar postal code with more than 5 digits.

Error- "You entered an invalid postal code. Please enter a valid 5-digit code." 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the User Profile.
  2. Navigate to the Address portlet.
  3. Add or edit a Myanmar postal code with more than 5 digits.
  4. A validation error occurs when saving the postal code.

Cause

This is currently a limitation

Resolution

  • Product Engineering has confirmed it as an enhancement which is planned for 2H 2026 release but not yet confimred.
  • Please reach out to your CSM/CEE to track the progress of the enhancement ECT-275396
