3780077 - "Mapping of product" mapping file upload not updating mapping target values in Migration Cockpit - S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• During BOM migration, uploading the "Mapping of Product" template does not change target product/material values; mappings remain unchanged.
• No error message is displayed after the upload.
• Upload appears successful, but mapping task shows source values as target values.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Migrate your data fiori app.
2. Open the Bill of Material migration object.
3. Navigate to Mapping Tasks.
4. Choose Upload Values.
5. Upload the file for "Mapping of Product" and complete the upload.
6. Check Product Mapping values and observe that the uploaded mappings are not applied.

• The uploaded mapping task file contains additional formatting that prevents correct parsing.

1. Download a fresh "Mapping of Product" template directly from the Mapping Tasks screen of the BOM migration object.
2. Copy only the mapping pairs (source product/material to target product/material) from the original file into the new template, without adding any extra formatting.
3. Save and upload the new template via Upload Values in the "Mapping of Product" mapping task.
4. After upload, review the mapping task to confirm that target product/material values are updated as per the file.
