3780216 - User can enter comma in award amount while others can only enter dot in spot awards nomination

• A single user can input a comma separator in the award amount field when submitting an award nomination.
• Other users can only input a dot; a comma is not accepted for them.
• When a comma is used, approvers may see a different value (for example, 5 instead of 5,000).
• No error message is displayed.

1. Start a Spot Awards nomination and proceed to the step where the award amount is entered.
2. On the affected user’s device, type a value containing a comma in the award amount field.
3. Observe that the comma input is accepted for that user, while on other users’ devices the field accepts only a dot.

• The acceptance and interpretation of the decimal/thousands separator in the award amount field depend on the operating system Language & Region settings on the user’s device. Locales that use a comma as the decimal separator allow comma entry and interpret it as a decimal, not as a thousands separator. This behavior is independent of the specific operating system.
