3780230 - Custom Organizational Updates cards open embedded content and close button unresponsive

• Custom cards in the Organizational Updates section do not work correctly.
• Clicking a card opens the linked content embedded at the bottom of the same screen instead of a popup.
• The Close button displayed below the embedded content does not respond when clicked.
• The issue affects multiple cards

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Login to the instance
2. Go to the Organizational Updates section and click a custom card 
3. Observe that the linked content opens embedded at the bottom of the same screen.
4. Click the Close button below the embedded content and observe that it does not respond.

Custom cards are configured to use an external JavaScript URL. The behavior results from custom JavaScript code, which is customer-owned and not supported by SAP support.

1. Check whether the affected custom card is configured with the JavaScript URL option.
2. Review and update the custom JavaScript so it works with the latest Home Page, or change the card to a supported option that does not rely on custom JavaScript.
3. Save the configuration and test the card to confirm the link opens as intended and that the Close action works.
