Symptom
- The 'recommended visit frequency' field in the account advanced filter does not function as expected.
- Filtering on 'recommended visit frequency' returns no accounts or accounts which are not aligned with the filter criteria.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to accounts and open the advanced filter.
- Filter on 'Recommended Visit Frequency' and set a value.
- Open the account in the search results.
- Go to the Visit Details tab and check the 'Recommended Visit Frequency' there.
- It does not match your filter criteria.
Cause
The account contains two separate "recommended visit frequency" fields (one in the Visit Details tab and another in the Visits tab within the Visit Information section) that are not connected; the advanced filter queries the field from the Visits tab, not the Visit Details tab.
Resolution
- Open the account.
- Navigate to the Visits tab and open the Visit Information section.
- Check the 'Recommended Visit Frequency' field used by the advanced filter; if it is empty or does not match expectations, maintain the correct value.
- If the Visits tab is hidden or renamed, review adaptations/customizations to locate and expose the tab, then verify and maintain the field as needed.
- Re-run the advanced filter using 'recommended visit frequency' and confirm that the results now align with the expected criteria.
