Exit Button not available while jumping into a story from a hyperlink in present mode in SAC

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.8.16

 

1. Log in to the SAC.
2. Open the source (landing page) story.
3. Click the hyperlink to open another story

Notice : The story is opened in new tab, and the Exit option is not visible in the Present Mode toolbar.

The issue occurred because in the hyperlink configuration options, the "Open in new Tab" was selected.

Create the hyperlink without selecting the "Open in new Tab" option
