3780351 - Manage Document tool does not require OData API Attachment Export permission to view document files

Symptom

  • After 1H 2026 Preview release, users are unable to view documents in the Manage Documents tool, as no data is displayed.
  • Users were required to add OData API Attachment Export permission to view the data under manage document.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  • Login into the instance.
  • Go to Admin center
  • Go to Manage Documents
  • Cannot see list of documents, it shows No data

No data are available unless you add the OData API Attachment Export permission to view data

Cause

A post-release defect after 1H 2026 Preview release caused Manage Documents to display no data and, in some cases, incorrectly require the OData API Attachment Export” permission

Resolution

OData API Attachment Export permission is no longer required in Manage Document Tool to view data.  There was a bug in the Preview release last April 2026 where permission OData API Attachment Export was required, but this bug was fixed via patch on May 26, 2026.
