Symptom

Error when submitting the RO_SAFT_TAX_RESIDENT report to the tax authority; the file is generated successfully but rejected during submission.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Statutory Reports app.
  2. Search for the Report Name: RO_SAFT_TAX_RESIDENT.
  3. Open the respective run number
  4. Download the generated SAF‑T XML and submit it to the Romanian tax authority portal.
  5. Observe the rejection with errors indicating that UOM code 'AU' is not in the allowed list.

Cause

Missing configuration.

Resolution

  1. Review the configuration activity Map Unit of Measures (ID: 105922) for Romania SAF‑T.
  2. Ensure that all internal units of measure used in Products and Source Documents are mapped to valid UOM codes accepted by the Romanian SAF‑T schema; specifically correct the mapping so that any occurrence of 'AU' is mapped to an allowed code.
  3. Regenerate the RO_SAFT_TAX_RESIDENT file for the affected period.
  4. Resubmit the regenerated XML to the tax authority.
