3780468 - Approval requests from Assignments tab are not sent and no confirmation is shown in SuccessFactors Learning

• After submitting Request Approvals from the Assignments tab of a curriculum in Library, the approval request is not sent to the designated approvers. 
• After selecting Request Approvals and Submit, no confirmation dialog or message appears.

• SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Login in to the SuccessFactors system. 
2. Go to Learning
3. Search for a curriculum and select "Self Assign Curriculum". 
4. Select "Assignments" tab -> Click "Request Approvals" for the item -> Submit - > Observe that no confirmation dialog appears after submission. 
5. Confirm that no approval request is sent to the approvers. 

• The Assignments tab uses a legacy approval UI that is not updated with the new course home UI and REST API, so the action does not initiate the approval request or confirmation message. 

1. Submit approval request through the 'Invest in Myself' card section. 
2. Alternatively, click the item title to open the item details and submit the approval request using the new UI.

Avoid using the Assignments tab for approval requests until the legacy UI is updated.

If you need approvals to be initiated from the Assignments tab, submit an enhancement request to update that page to the new UI and REST API.
