3780501 - SAP.SETDATA cannot write back to private versions in sac excel add-in (error: "the version private.xxxx cannot be edited")

• An error occurs when using SAP.SETDATA() to write back data to a private version in the SAC Excel add-in.
• The same write-back works as expected on a public version.
• Data entry on the private version is possible.
• Error message: "The version private.xxxx cannot be edited."

1. Create a private version.
2. In the SAC Excel add-in, set up a data source and use the SAP.SETDATA() function to input/write back data to the private version.
3. Observe the error: "The version private.xxxx cannot be edited."

The fix is planned on August 3, 2026.
