Symptom

  • Try to start DP agent failed with error
  • Try to start DP agent from DP agent configuration tool
    Agent service daemon location: /usr/sap/dataprovagent/bin/dpagent_servicedaemon.sh
    dpagent_servicedaemon.sh location: /usr/sap/dataprovagent/bin/dpagent_servicedaemon.sh
    Starting agent service. Command: /usr/sap/dataprovagent/bin/dpagent_servicedaemon.sh start
    Start service return code: 0
    Cannot connect to agent. Trying again after 3 seconds
    Cannot connect to agent. Trying again after 3 seconds
    Cannot connect to agent. Trying again after 3 seconds
    Cannot connect to agent. Trying again after 3 seconds
    Cannot connect to agent. Trying again after 3 seconds
    Reached a maximum wait time of 18 seconds for the service to start 
  • DP agent framework.trc log stopped at the following line
