3780602 - XML Export Unavailable When Report Is Hidden In Reports View

The XML export for reports assigned to a work center is not possible if the report is hidden in the Reports view.

Business ByDesign

1. Access the report while it is visible in the Reports view.
2. Confirm that XML export works correctly.
3. Hide the report from the Reports view while keeping it assigned to the work center.
4. Attempt the XML export again.
5. Observe that the XML export option is not available or fails.

A user can download XML only if the relevant work center is assigned to the user, and the report is assigned and visible in that work center.

Hidden reports are designed to be visible only in the Business Analytics work center or in work centers where they are explicitly made visible through report assignment.

Hidden reports cannot be assigned to dashboards and cannot be viewed or downloaded from other work centers.

1. Assign the report to the appropriate work center for the user.
2. Set the report to visible in that work center.
3. If the report must remain hidden, access and download it from the Business Analytics work center.
