Symptom

Commitment values are displaying 0.00 in app Commitments by Cost Center, other apps like Display Line Items can still display the correct values.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Fiori app F3016 – Commitments by Cost Center.
  2. Enter required selection criteria (for example, ledger 0L and the relevant fiscal year).
  3. Run the report.
  4. Observe that the Commitments column displays 0.00.
  5. Click the 0.00 value total to navigate to Display Line Items app and verify that commitment documents (such as purchase requisitions and purchase orders) are listed with amounts.

Cause

The Lock Commitment Update indicator is enabled on the affected cost centers' master data, which excludes commitment values from report apps.

Resolution

  1. Identify the affected cost centers for which commitments are missing in reporting.
  2. In the cost center master data, disable the Lock Commitment Update indicator for each affected cost center.
  3. Save the changes.
  4. Re-run the F3016 – Commitments by Cost Center app and verify that the Commitments column now shows the expected values.
