3780753 - Manage documented credit decisions (DCD) stays in "New" status after credit release - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Manage Documented Credit Decisions event is stuck.
• Documented Credit Decision remains in status "New" after the sales order credit release and completion of the sales document process.
• When selecting "Check Again", the message appears: "A new check is not possible for this sales document."

1. Complete the sales document process (perform credit release and follow-on steps such as delivery and billing).
2. Open the Manage Documented Credit Decisions app and find the related DCD.
3. Observe that the DCD still shows status "New" (and may show a blocked situation) despite process completion.
4. Choose "Check Again" and note the message: "A new check is not possible for this sales document."

• Creation and update of Documented Credit Decisions occur asynchronously via workflow events.
• Events can fail temporarily (for example, due to object locks) or due to structural inconsistencies (for example, missing currency conversion).
• Such failures can leave event PUSH_DCD in error and the DCD in status "New" even though the underlying process has completed.

1. Documented Credit Decision(DCD) processing is asynchronous and relies on workflow events.
2. Schedule and run the "Reprocess Workflow Events" job regularly to reprocess failed workflow events.
3. Review the job log and results for entries related to events and confirm successful reprocessing.
4. Credit controller should be able to release the DCD.
5. If the job does not resolve the issue and the DCD remains inconsistent, create a support ticket for further analysis, as database-level inconsistencies are rare and require investigation.
