3780808 - Prerequisites for activating scope item 33Q (Actual Costing) in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

• Clarification needed on the activation of Scope Item 33Q (Actual Costing) in the live SAP system.
• Need for prerequisites, dependencies, or risks before proceeding with activation.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

To ensure smooth activation of 33Q , check that following customizing is complete :

1. All valuation classes used in existing Material master are mapped to GL in GBB/VBR  (consumption account mapping via configuration 'Automatic Account Determination' (SSCUI 100297)).
2. All GBB/VBR GL accounts are mapped to cost component structure via configuration 'Define Cost Component Structure' (SSCUI 102427).
3. It's not prohibited but price determination should be changed to 3 (multi level) in MM after scope item 33Q actual costing activation.
