Symptom

  • All Fiori tiles are inaccessible when requests land on one specific application server.
  • Requests routed to the other application server work.
  • Browser shows HTTP 500 while accessing the Fiori UI.
  • SM21 on the affected server logs error STRING_BAD_REF (e.g., “error during logon”, “cfunction ab_StrRefSTRHPTR”, “errcode STRING_BAD_REF”).
  • Issue time window observed around a specific timestamp.
